lymphoma.

this is not something that we were prepared for; no one ever is.

as a pet guardian, and animal adorer, i cannot imagine my life without a pet in it. i’ve experienced the grief, the pain, the sadness of losing a pet, and though i know that the day will come when we must say goodbye, cancer was never in that picture.

i will share uma’s journey to honor her, to remember her, and to perhaps help another person or family that is faced with the same diagnosis.

every day is precious, for we know not what the day will bring. love, be kind, and love some more.
